When utilizing Cascadian's convenient Water Quality Test Kit, it's important to get a good representative sample of the raw water.

1. If you have water treatment, it's most informative for us if you collect a raw water sample either:
   1. find an untreated spigot
   2. bypass your existing water treatment
2. Open a faucet/spigot and let water run for 5-10 minutes in order to flush out the stagnant water from the plumbing
3. Open the water bottle
4. Fill the bottle slowly so that there's no air bubbles and it's completely full
5. Screw the cap back on with minimal air bubble
